There's something with Baguio that you just keep coming back to. It may be because of its cold weather - a respite from the warm Manila temperature. Or it may be because of its location - it's near the capital but still far enough in case you need to breathe and escape the metro.
Color is everywhere. See the roofs of the houses on the side of the mountain. It's even more beautiful at night - like fireflies at the dark.
Colorful flowers line the path to Mines View Park's view deck, side by side with vendors selling souvenirs.
Taking a good, long walk here soothes the mind.
While some people go here to shop at the fashion outlets or dine at the restaurants located along its grounds, I always come here to visit the Historical Core. The place houses the Bell House and Ampitheater and also the Cemetery of Negativism.
